Someone needs to figure out how to harness the energy that people exert at the gym. 100 people moving elliptical machines all day long and you’re telling me they can’t at least power the lights in the building?
Thinking about it more, a setup like this would actually make me exercise harder. If I could see a graph that says “You’ve generated enough energy to power the building for the next 22 seconds,” I’d be more inclined to try to increase that number. When it comes to exercise, real-time feedback is invaluable.
